Can I use Bio-diesel?
The use of bio-diesel can cause damage to unmodified vehicles. Damage caused as a result of using Bio-diesel that does not satisfy all of the following conditions is not covered by a Mitsubishi Motors warranty:
- 1. The amount of FAME must be below 5% volume.
- 2. The quality of FAME must conform to the EN14214 standard, and,
- 3. The quality of diesel fuel after blending FAME must conform to the EN590 standard.
Can I extend my vehicle’s manufacturer warranty when it expires?
When your vehicle’s warranty is due to expire you can purchase a comprehensive Extended Warranty Policy from your local Mitsubishi dealership. This is available for vehicles of up to either 10 years old /100,000 miles whichever occurs first.

For all UK supplied Mitsubishi vehicles please complete the customer service enquiry form. Please ensure you include the following information in the comments section.

If your vehicle is a private import then the certificate will need to be requested from the vehicle’s country of origin. Please note this certificate is only available for European vehicles registered after January 1998.

Can I use Bio-Ethanol?
The use of Bio-ethanol as a petrol additive causes damage to unmodified vehicles. All MPI (Multi Point Injection) petrol powered Mitsubishi vehicles can use a maximum of 10% (E10) volume ethanol blended petrol specified EN228. Damage caused as a result of using Bio-ethanol that does not satisfy this condition, is not covered by a Mitsubishi Motors warranty. E10 must not be used in GDI petrol engines or vehicles fitted with carburettors.

What warranty does my Mitsubishi vehicle have?
All new passenger cars are provided with a comprehensive 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty. For L200, or commercial variants of Shogun, Outlander and ASX, mileage is limited to 100,000 miles.
In addition all new vehicles come with a 6 or 12 year anti corrosion perforation warranty (excluding i-MiEV which comes with 8 years) – please ask your Mitsubishi dealership for more details.

How can I update my Satellite Navigation system with the latest map data?
For vehicles with the Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS), updates are released annually. Please contact your local Mitsubishi dealership for details on the latest release.
For vehicles with the Kenwood system, updates can be purchased from Garmin directly please visit www.garmin.com for more details.
